Our Story

A grassroots organization built to last

Mahila Va Apang Bal Vikas Sanstha (MVABVS) is a Maharashtra-based non-governmental organization, established in 2009 and headquartered in Titwala, Thane. From the very beginning, our work has centered on one simple idea — that women, children, and persons with disabilities deserve real opportunities, not just occasional charity.

Over the years, we've grown from a small local initiative into an organization working across education, healthcare, livelihood, and social inclusion — always staying close to the community we started in.

  • Promote awareness of rights, health, nutrition, and social welfare through community outreach programs.

Our Vision

To empower children, physically challenged youth, and women to lead meaningful, independent, and dignified lives while building an inclusive society that ensures equal opportunities for all.
MVABVS philosophy in action
Our Philosophy

Giving back, the right way

MVABVS was founded by individuals who believed simply in "giving back to society." That belief still shapes everything we do today.

We hold that lasting social change comes from empowering people through education, opportunity, and community support — not from providing only short-term assistance. It's a slower path, but it's the one that actually changes lives.

As a grassroots organization working toward inclusive development, we aim to ensure that women, children, and persons with disabilities have the resources, opportunities, and support needed to become independent and contribute meaningfully to society.
